Why have acupuncture now?

It’s September, the children are back to school, the holidays are over and summer is on its last leg. In the UK September can often offer lovely warm weather and lots of sunshine but it is still a time of change from summer to autumn , from late sunsets to shorter days with less light.
It can be hard for the body to adjust to this change both physically and emotionally; we can be prone to catching colds and might feel a little low. On the other hand autumn is a time of harvesting and gathering everything we have learned and experienced during the summer , we might also feel determined and motivated to start a new project or finish something we started earlier in the year.
This is the perfect time to come for an acupuncture treatment!
I am practicing the theory of stems and branches as well as 5 elements , where the seasonal changes are key in the way we maintain our health.
External and internal climates effect each other and acupuncture is a fantastic way of restoring imbalances.
Maybe that aching lower back is coming back to haunt you, or you feel a cold coming on or you just want a time out from the stress of everyday must do’s?
Nip it all in the the bud and see an acupuncturist.
Do you have a fear of needles? Do not worry , acupuncture does not have to involve the insertion of needles there are many alternatives such as cupping and moxa. Contact me for more information.
Have a great week!
Best wishes,
Asa
